Break the Silence to End the Violence

Break the Silence to End the Violence
During Domestic Violence Awareness Month, we have a unique opportunity to come together and shine a light on an important cause: breaking the silence to end the violence. This month is dedicated to raising awareness, fostering understanding, and inspiring action.
Why It Matters: 1 in 4 women and 1 in 7 men have been victim of severe intimate partner violence (IPV) at some point in their lives. Domestic Violence Services of Snohomish (DVS) works to create an environment which is safe, responsive and supportive of individuals and/or families impacted by IPV. DVS is dedicated to fostering individual dignity, respect, hope, and self-determination.
How You Can Help: We invite you to participate in our campaign by:
- Spreading the Word: Share information on social media using the hashtag #BreakTheSilence and encourage your friends and family to join the conversation.
- Participating in Events: Visit our website or social media pages for events throughout the month of October, where we’ll provide valuable insights and resources.
- Get involved: Donate today to make an impact for those experiencing domestic violence. Also visit our page for other ways to get involved in making a social change. Volunteer Opportunities - Domestic Violence Services Snohomish County (dvs-snoco.org)
Together, We Can Make a Difference: By raising awareness this October, we can empower individuals, reduce stigma, and promote understanding. Let’s take this opportunity to advocate for change and support those who are affected by domestic violence.
Thank you for your commitment to this important cause. Together, we can make a meaningful impact!
